Our client is seeking Special Education Teachers to provide support to students in the Ann Arundel area schools this Fall 2022-2023
*Delta-T group is offering a $500.00 referral bonus any SPED Teacher referred to us (ask for detail).
HOURS
* Mon- Fri Schedule available
* Immediate Start for the School year 2022-2023
* Compensation Rate - SPED Teacher- $40/hr
CLIENT'S LIST OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direction of the Special Education Director, the Special Education Teacher...
* Develops and provides specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
* Evaluates and assesses student progress against instructional objectives.
* Follows State-mandated due process procedures and functions as support to assigned students.
* Collaborates with educators, parents, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community for all students.
CLIENT'S QUALIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
*Hold or be eligible for a Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) teaching certificate in Special Education
*Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards
*High quality written and verbal communication skills
*High proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook
*Ability to properly manage confidential information
*Ability to stand for up to 90 minutes at a time
*Ability to supervise students in all school settings, including in a classroom, on playground or in another play setting, in a meal room, and/or transitioning between any of these settings
*Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks
