SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Providing expertise and oversight in the prevention of illness and early detection and correction of health problems; and is uniquely qualified in preventive health, health assessments, referral procedures, crisis intervention, school health electronic record data management, and emergency preparedness.
*Maintains a safe and orderly environment in the school health room and on school property;
*Identifies and assesses acute and/or chronic health problems of students, particularly as it relates to communicable diseases, chronic disorders and acute conditions;
*Obtains physician's order for medications and/or treatment as necessary;
*Administers and monitors medication as well as immunization as directed by a Maryland licensed physician or Nurse Practitioner;
*Performs treatments and administers immunizations as prescribed by a Maryland licensed physician or nurse practitioner;
*Provides individual teaching and support to students attempting to become independent in managing health related conditions;
* Conducting a complete medical assessments
* Willing to travel if needed to varoius locations.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Minimum: A.A./Bachelor's Degree from accredited U.S. College or University
* Maryland RN Active License
* CPR/First Aid Card
* Valid Driver's Licenses
* Minimum of 1 year experience working with Pediatrics
* Minimum of 1 year experience working in the Emergency Department
