Our clients are seeking certified Paraprofessionals that have experience providing support to children with behavioral and intellectual challenges within schools in the Oak Forest, IL area.
IMMEDIATE OPENINGS AVAILABLE
RATE and SIGN ON BONUS
*$19/hr depending on contractor's qualifications, availability, and skill. Paid weekly.
*$150 sign on bonus after completion of 250 working hours!
* Refer a friend & earn up to an additional $150
HOURS:
*School Hours may vary but are set during the typical school day
SUMMARY OF THIS OPPORTUNITY:
*Assist student in the general education classroom with note taking, testing, etc.
*Alerts regular teacher to any problem or special information about the individual student(s)
*Assist with student's participation in small groups of students as directed by the classroom teacher.
*Assist in checking and correction of papers and preparation of materials under the direction of the teacher.
*Assist students during activities including lunch and safely guiding on and off the bus.
*Monitor the instruction activities of the student and assist as appropriate or as directed by the classroom teacher.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
*Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalency
*Paraprofessional License or Substitute Teaching Certification
*Experience working with children with behavioral challenges, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and/or autism
