One of our clients is seeking a motivated professional to work as a Licensed Mental Health Professional in the greater Baltimore area.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
A Therapist who delivers care to youth, adolescents and young adult outpatients who are experiencing mental/behavioral health and/or substance use disorder symptoms. The therapist will utilize patient management skills necessary to provide quality patient care.
* Will provide treatment planning
* Conducting task oriented, didactic, and psycho-therapeutic groups to perform therapeutic interventions
* Provide individual therapy as warranted.
* Conduct intakes and matching of new referrals
* Responsible for individual treatment planning which identifies and prioritizes the problems a patient needs work on and provides a roadmap for treatment through use of a problem list and a treatment plan.
* Responsible to write the therapeutic progress note in accordance with regulations for particular level of care (i.e., weekly for IOP and at each individual session for OP).
* Responsible for submitting various forms related to care of practice including authorizations, transfer and discharge summaries to the appropriate departments.
* Responsible for discharging the clients, when the client is inactive in program or client is graduated from program.
* Responsible for referring the client to higher level of services, when needed.
* All clinical work reviewed and monitored weekly/monthly/quarterly to ensure that 100% of the patient's records are completed through chart audits.
* Responsible for meeting all benchmarks set by the organization.
* Responsible for attending all staff meetings and scheduled clinical meeting/reviews.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* A Master's degree in Social work or Counseling.
* Licensed and certified to provide therapy in the State of Maryland (LMSW, LGSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, and LCPC). * Minimum (1) one-year experience in a therapeutic environment.
* Valid Driver's License
