SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
*Obtains appropriate release of information
*Designs and implements treatment plans, including individual, group, and/or family psychotherapy, and evaluates and documents
patient outcomes according to department policy and procedure.
*Interprets nature of illness and prescribed course of treatment to patients and families. Communicates family issues to other staff members. Participates in planning conferences.
*Maintains up-to-date and complete records of patient information according to established standards.
*Collaborates with other hospital programs and community agencies with which patients and families are involved.
* Assesses patients needs through clinical interview, chart/history review and through use of standardized instruments.
* Demonstrates ability to render care to the following age groups:
infant/neonate
child
adolescent
* Knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan
*Knowledge of criteria to identify victims of abuse and neglect
*Demonstrates the following: Skills
* Performs age specific assessments
* Uses communications appropriate to age
* Assesses age specific safety issues
*Interprets patient data and responses
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
*One (1) year clinical experience preferred
