Currently seeking Caregivers and/or Residential Aides) to provide care to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is an Independent Contractor role and is a client negotiable a temp to perm opportunity.
HOURLY RATE
Up to $15/hour depending on contractor's qualifications, availability, and skill.
Shifts: 2nd & 3rd every day of the week
Power Weekends (1st & 2nd shift) 16 hrs total for each day Sat & Sun
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide compassion and emotional support to residents, ensuring all activities are designed and implemented with a goal of individual growth
* Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living cooking, bathing, dressing, and light housekeeping
* Provide companionship. Ensure all care and services are delivered in a climate of care and concern
* Transport individuals to appointments (as needed)
* Monitor residents abilities and performance and make suggestions to care plans.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
* Minimum of one (1) year of verifiable caregiving or direct care experience
* Experience enriching the lives of persons with Intellectual Developmental Disorders (IDD)
* Experience working in, or supporting the personal care of adults i.e., bathing, dressing, and meal preparations
* Caregivers/Residentials Aides)/Home Health Aide (HHA) are encouraged to register.
