SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Support clients in residential facility in support of program goals and objectives
* Assist Individuals with daily activities including grooming, dressing, bathing, and moving throughout the facility and community
* Provide companionship and emotional support to Individuals
* Ensure a safe and positive environment for Individuals
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCAION
* Experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities in the community, and managing associated behaviors.
* Treat Individuals with respect and dignity while provide enriching opportunities and choice
* Valid Drivers License and cleaning driving record
* Med Tech certification (or eligibility to become Med Tech certified)
* Capable of performing CPR/First Aid and follow MANDT standards for crisis intervention
* Ability to receive instruction and implement policies/procedures as trained
* Work independently and manage time effectively
* Organized and easily adaptable to changing duties and work settings. Commit to having a high-level of reliability: punctual and committed to a shift schedule
* Maintain professional presence and interaction
* Maintain an attitude of cooperativeness, respectfulness, and honesty
