Our Client is seeking Direct Care Workers/Caregivers to provide support and care in a group home setting.
CLIENT'S LOCATION(S), AVAILABLE HOURS, & HOURLY RATE
*Compensation rate of $16-$17 per hour DOQ
*1st 2nd & 3rd shift WEEKENDS ONLY
*Locations: 76210, 76205, 76209, 76207
*Long term independent contracts: all weekend shifts available.
*Group Homes and Community based Home Health options available
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF OPPORTUNITY
* Assist persons with autism and other intellectual development disabilities. Support performance of daily living activities including but not limited to bathing, teeth brushing, and dressing.
* Assist with training activities as specified in Individual Support Plans (ISP) and activity schedules
* Provide supervision to ensure Individuals' safety and health care needs are not compromised
* Implement maladaptive behavior reduction program as specified by the behavior support plan, protocol or facility emergency procedures
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
* VALID Driver's License a MUST
* Verifiable experience working with developmentally disabled (preferred)
* Ability to satisfactorily complete and pass background check and MVR report
