Our clients are currently seeking a Day Camp Instructor in the Manchester area that will provide aide and support to children with emotional and behavioral disabilities in various settings.
CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS
* Monday- Friday: usually 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
* No weekends
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF TEACHER AIDE OPPORTUNITY
* Provide support and assistance by helping children with challenges outlined in their IEP assessment: ages 3-21 years old.
* Work one on one with students to ensure a safe, nurturing, and academically stimulating environment.
* Provide children with goal-oriented support that fosters independence and the ability to display socially acceptable behaviors in the school environment.
* Monitor child's change in moods and/or behaviors.
* Ensure that diversity and commonality are valued.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* Experience proving support to children with autism, behavioral challenges, or intellectual and developmental disabilities
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalency
* Ability to complete and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse (ACT 126), and Criminal
* Must be able to produce or obtain current medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, CPR, and First Aid
