Our Client is seeking Co-responder Clinicians in Douglas County, GA.
Client's Description of Opportunity
The Co-responder Clinician will work in close partnership with first responders and law enforcement, responding to calls involving people experiencing symptoms of mental illness, substance use disorders or co-occurring behavioral health conditions to de-escalate presenting symptoms and/or current stressors, resolve crises and link individuals and their loved ones to most appropriate community-based care and support. Co-responders help identify community resources, alternate options, and community supports to meet needs and desires identified by the individual. Co-Responder services aim to more appropriately serve individuals with behavioral health and substance use conditions to reduce overall emergency services use.
Client's Required Qualifications
*Master's Degree in social work, psychology, or related field. Current license as a LCSW, LPC, OR LMFT in the State of Georgia, or master's with LAPC, LMSW, or LAMFT and ability to obtain LPC/LCSW/LMFT licensure within 3 months of hire in the State of Georgia.
*Minimum of two years' experience in clinical social work. Experience working with moderate to severe and persistently mentally ill populations.
*Must have valid driver's license and good driving record
Position details
*Some local travel required.
* 40 hour per week
*Shifts can be overnight, weekend or weekday.
* Weekend availability + Multiple Shifts Available
*Once settled on a shift, that is your schedule
*1 hour, unpaid lunch break
*Working out of Douglassville, GA.
