Our client is seeking a motivated professional to work as a Case Manager for their facility in Camden, NJ.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of:
oModern principles of criminal justice, community corrections and therapeutic communities.
oCounseling and caseworkmethods and techniques appropriate for offender population.
oIndividual and group behavior of persons with criminal backgrounds.
oCustody and accountability standards for contracting agencies.
Ability to:
oTo understand and comply with contract rules, regulations policies and procedures.
oWork with offenders to gain their confidence and cooperation.
oParticipate as an effective member of a program team.
oExecute Contract Statement of Work regarding case management.
oClearly express ideas orally and in writing.
oEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and residents.
oCommunicate effectively with staff, residents, and agency representatives.
oManage a flexible work schedule; and
oMaintain contracting agency clearance.
oMaintain have a valid drivers' license in good standing.
Client's Required Work and Academic Experience
This position requires a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a Social Science and demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities with at least one year of relevant experience; and excellent computer skills including Windows and Word applications. Department of Corrections and Department of Parole clearances are required.
