Our client is seeking a Behavioral Aid in Canyon Country.
AVAILABLE HOURS
* Full-time or Part-time shifts
* Evening and weekend hours
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide services for high and at-risk children and youth with severe behavior and or mental health challenges
* Engage with the youths. Assist with schoolwork and ask about their life (likes or dislikes)
* Provide line of sight supervision, without overwhelming the child
* Redirect negative and problematic behaviors
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* Bachelor's Degree in a social work field or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
* Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Psychiatric or Behavioral Health
* Valid Driver's License
* Ability to complete and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse (ACT 126), and Criminal
* Produce current medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, CPR, and First Aid certification
* ASL (preferred)
