One of our clients is seeking a Behavior Health Techniciian to provide service in the Philadelphia area.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide 1:1 intervention in community/school settings with children and adolescents with severe emotional challenges.
* Provide behavioral interventions and crisis management for children and adolescents with mental health diagnoses.
* Collaborate with treatment team to provide input and feedback that contributes to the development of a child's treatment plan.
* Monitor child's behaviors by documentation and redirecting challenging behaviors.
* Implement Applied Behavior Analysis.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's Degree in a Human Service related field including Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Education, Criminal Justice, Human Services, Behavioral Health, or other social services related field.
* Bachelor's Degree in unrelated field requires 1 year full-time paid experience working with children or adolescents.
* Associate's Degree or sixty (60) college credits requires 1 year full-time paid experience working with children or adolescents.
* Ability to complete and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse (ACT 126), and Criminal.
* Must be able to produce current medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, CPR and First Aid certification.
* Must complete CBH Core Trainings
* Must complete the Registered Behavior Technician(RBT) Training
